What is the New Virgin Forest?
Near Ještěd in northern Bohemia, the Čmelák association has been buying up artificial spruce monocultures since 2004 and transforming them into a natural and colorful forest, which will one day become a new primeval forest. Become a patron of a piece of the New Forest and get a gift certificate as well as the good feeling of really helping nature.

Now we can expand the New Virgin Forest yet again!
In addition to the 35 hectares we have already bought for the return of nature, we now want
to add another part.
Again, this is a spruce monoculture, almost devoid of life, from which we want to create a diverse forest.

What is
our goal?
To transform another 15,083 m2 of spruce forest desert into a diverse and natural forest that will one day become a new primeval forest.
Why are
we doing this?
We are natural conservationists and this is a practical way to restore natural balance and diversity where it has been lost due to human influence.

What stage
are we at?
We have signed a purchase agreement and have taken out a loan of 600,000 CZK to be repaid by the end of 2025. Currently a public collection is in progress.
